I was wondering should I become a Zerker instead of a 1 def pure?

Some good things that becoming a Zerker would allow:

Barrows Gloves, Fighter Torso, Rune legs and Rune boots for added defence and strength bonuses.
It would make training easier and allow me to have access to Lunar Magiks.
Also this would allow me to get the 85 Cb req for clan faster.

Bad Things about becoming a Zerker:

Makes me 11 Cb lvls higher
Makes me risk more because of armour needed to pk.
